2012-2013 District Calendar has been released

Operation Preparation Focuses On College/Career Readiness For Students --- Students in the Marshall County Middle Schools and High School are getting some extra advice on what they can do academically to prepare for college or a career as part of Operation Preparation.

Best Place to Raise Kids in Kentucky: Benton, Kentucky --- In the southwest part of the state, near the Tennessee border, Benton is the Marshall County seat. The town of just over 4,000 is surrounded by national parks and is close to Kentucky Lake, the largest man-made lake in the U.S. east of the Mississippi. Commonwealth Community College --- When four students from the McCracken and Marshall County school districts graduated in May, there may have been no one prouder than Donna Wear. Wear is principal of Commonwealth Middle College, and the four students graduated with not only their high school diplomas, but also with their associate degrees from West Kentucky Community and Technical College in Paducah.
