Caring and Sharing During the Holidays
*Students who particiapted in the Math-A-Thon raised over $1200 for the St. Jude's Childrens' Hospital.
*Third grade classes saved over $125 in change to sent to Tonia in Mozambique.
*Third garde classes delivered fruit and "hand" made wreathes to residents at the Cox Manor Apartments.
*First grade students are selling Magic Reindeer Food Dec 16-18 and all proceeds will go to the Playground Fund for all CCES students to enjoy.

Character Club Word of the Month
Each month the students will be studying a "word of the month". Students will be chosen each month for the "Character Club" which has been created especially for the "word of the month". Students who have been observed demonstrating the characteristics of the "word of the month" are chosen for the Character Club and will have their picture taken and receive a special certificate from Mrs. O'Neal. This is sponsored by the Calvert City/Sharpe Family Resource Center.
