Jonathan Elementary was established in 1969. Located on U.S. Highway 68 East on sixteen acres of land in the eastern part of Marshall County. When the school opened, grades one through eighth were taught. Kindergarten classes were added in 1974, the same year sixth, seventh, and eighth grades were transferred to the middle school. Preschool came to Jonathan Elementary in 1990. We now enroll approximately two hundred students, with thirty-eight faculty and staff.
