General Information

*School fees are $20.00 for all students.
* School doors will be locked until 7:25 a.m. We do no have supervision
staff until that time.
*For safety reasons, doors will be locked throughout the day.
*Visitors MUST sign in at the school office.
*Information calendars will be sent home monthly to notify parents about
important dates and upcoming school events.
*School lunch prices are $1.50; reduced lunch price is 40 cents. Breakfast
price is 75 cents; reduced breakfast price is 20 cents.
*Please read the Code of Acceptable Behavior and the School Discipline
Plan carefully. Both have forms to sign and return to school.

Attendance

*Regular and punctual attendance is ESSENTIAL for success in school. Low
attendance and tardiness affects a student's academic achievement and
social development.
*Regular and punctual attendance is also required by Kentucky law (please
refer to the Code of Acceptable Behavior you student received).
*Students that arrive after 8:00 a.m. or leave early will be counted tardy.
Depending on the time, students may be counted absent for up to 1/2 day
if they are checked out early. These times are monitored by our attendance
software and cannot be changed.
*Please remember to call the school before 9:00 a.m. if your child will not
be in attendance for the day (354-6462). Absences not called in will have to
be considered unexcused.
*If your child is absent and you wish to call in for class assignments, they
will be ready to be picked up in the front office after 2:00 in the afternoon.
This gives us time to get everything ready.

Car Riders/Transportation

*For your child's safety, any person other than the parent who is allowed to
pick up a child MUST be listed on the child's pick-up sheet kept on file in the
office.
*If specific people ARE NOT allowed to pick up a child, please list those
names on the bottom of the child's pick-up sheet.
*Copies of legal documents MUST be on file in the school office if a child is
not to be allowed to leave with either parent.
*If someone is to pick up your child and their name IS NOT listed on the
pick-up card, a note must be sent to school that morning stating who will
be picking up the child. That note must be approved before the child will be
allowed to leave.
*Car riders are dismissed at 2:55.
*A note must also be sent if the student is going to ride a different bus
than they normally ride.
*Car riders not picked up by 3:10 will be taken back into the building and
parents will need to enter the building and pick them up in the office.
*When bringing car riders in the morning, please use the entrance at the
back of the gym, and have students here by 7:50.
