Please continue to send in these items for donations to South Marshall Elementary:  Coca-Cola products bottle caps or the section of 12 and 24 pack boxes that has the Coke rewards code on it.  Also Box Tops and Campbell Soup can labels.

This week started our K-Prep Testing.  It is very important that your child is at school every day.  Please try not to make any doctor’s appointments for your child during school hours unless it is absolutely necessary.  The state has narrowed the dates we test this year, which means we also have fewer days to make-up tests.  Thanks for your help with this. 

Please contact me if you have to schedule a doctor’s appointment during testing.

Awards Day for 1^st grade through 4^th grade will be at SMES on May 17^th and will begin at 1:00 pm. 

Kindergarten graduation will be May 18^th at 8:30 am in our gym.

5^th grade graduation will be May 18^th at 1:00 pm in our gym.

The last day of school will be May 18^th. 

It has been a great year at South Elementary, but we still have a few more days to go.  One is no more valuable than the other. They are all important to the education of our students.  Thanks for all you do to support your child’s teacher and the staff at SMES.

South Marshall Elementary School is now taking Kindergarten registrations for students who are entering Kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year. Please call the school to register your future student.

• child's social security number
• telephone number
• date of birth
• two documents proving residency in the South Marshall   Elementary School District.
