Striving for Excellence
South Marshall Elementary School is a rural school sitting on a forty acre landscaped campus and playground adjoining South Marshall Middle School. We have approximately 350 students in Preschool through fifth grade. Our Preschool classes are in a self-contained classroom. The students have lunch and recess at times that are parallel with other students. Our Primary program includes kindergarten through 3rd grade. The classes are self-contained but flexible in order to allow students to move from grade to grade to best meet their individual needs. The teachers work collaboratively to insure that Core Content is covered at each grade level. The classrooms for our Intermediate students are basically self-contained. The teachers work closely with each other to insure that every student is given the opportunity to achieve their highest potential.
PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION
Registration is March 4th 10am-6pm and March 5th 8:30am-3pm at the Woodmen of the World building in Benton. Screenings will be April 1st at Central Elementary. Parents need to call 527-2830 for appointments for both registration and screenings.
